The Making Process
Making the garment is an involved process, so it is important to be available for several fittings. After the gown has been designed and the fabrics chosen, the process of making begins. Measurements are taken and a basic pattern drafted. At the same time I work in calico, and a mock-up of the gown will be made and fitted to you. All adjustments are made to the toile before it is cut into the silk. A totally honest opinion and feedback will be given at all times. All gowns are made in-house, so alterations can sometimes be done while you are being fitted. I consider fittings to be an exceptionally important part of my service. This is where you will be party to endless tips and advice.
Gowns start from £1000; depending on Design and Fabrics. The price will be agreed prior to the start of the "Making Process".
